Religion in the new millennium is more dynamic than the static beliefs of old. Faiths and beliefs nowadays adapt to the changing times. They have to if they want to keep their followers.

I dont think any true religion needs to do things to ”keep” their followers... spirituality comes naturally to most people its just that they are constricted by what religion they are born into... even atheists who dont supposedly belive in god or organised religion can be athiests...

as for aliens, I completely subscribe to the Chariots of Gods theory...

I mean you just cannot tell me that so many ancient civilizations got so technologically advanced without the scientific equipment we have today...

and that having had that knowledge we all just fell into a slump of dumbness all of a sudden across the world...
