I cant imagine somebody replacing Tobey Maguire. Not because he is a fantastic actor, but ’coz he fits the bill perfectly. There can never be a better Peter Parker. For the hooded hero, though, you can find a million muscular men.

I hope they don’t choose to stage the next venture with a muscular spider-man battling the evil. To find a better man fitting the equation that Toby would be a very difficult task if at all this news has an element of truth in it. Toby I guess has done well until know and has indeed earned repute doing the same role so they should continue with him. It would be pleasing if they find a hotter chick for him than the likes of Dunst.

The character played by Ms.Dunst is average-looking if you go by the comic strip. So, I feel a hotter chick would serve only one purpose - taking your eyes off Spiderman. And that’s something the makers cant afford to do.
